OPENERS
SHOULD YOU BUY A NEW OPENER OR REPAIR YOUR OLD ONE?
According to a Liftmaster, all garage door openers manufactured prior to 1993 should be replaced, rather than fixed. This is to ensure the highest degree of customer safety and satisfaction due to a Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) law. Many garage door openers prior to 1993 are not equipped with infrared sensors or other external entrapment protections devices and do not meet today’s standards for garage door opener safety.
We install Liftmaster openers which offer a wide variety from economy to whisper quiet. We can also install an opener you have purchased from another source.
In the Liftmaster openers we offer a standard 1/2 and 3/4 HP Belt or Chain opener, in the Premium, Elite, and Contractor Series. We also offer a battery back-up opener, which is a great addition during the infamous Jacksonville, FL power outages.

Liftmaster openers offer that same durability and reliabilty with some added features such as battery back-up and My Q Technology. My Q technology, allows you to monitor and control your home from anywhere, at anytime with the new Internet Opener. With the free app you can use your smart phone, tablet, or computer to view the status of your garage door, open or close your door from anywhere in the world, and turn on a light in the house. Especially useful if you are out later than expected and do not want to come home to a dark house, when you are away from home and you cannot remember if you shut your door, or if you need to let someone in your home while you are away.
